A graduate of SAE Vancouver’s October 2016 intake, Ben has been working in the Vancouver audio industry since 2017. He began his career as an engineer at Songster Studios, and started writing and producing his own music under the name Rainout, receiving a publishing deal and gaining song placements in commercials and Netflix’s TV show “Younger”. Throughout this time, Ben was also freelancing as a podcast editor and started his role as Studio Manager at SAE Vancouver.

Ben has been active in the local Vancouver independent music scene as well, engineering and producing for acts such as Babe Corner, Wax Cowboy, Club Sofa, and more. He released his first full album as engineer and producer in 2021 with “Your Move” for Vancouver indie rock outfit Dante’s Paradise.
