“SAE Institute Vancouver, first and foremost, creates a family-like atmosphere – every employee to a person took me in from day one and nurtured me in every aspect of my learning. The production/engineering program itself was an intense full-time multi-disciplined program which was exactly what I needed to kick-start my formal career into producing.
It wasn’t enough to just learn – what made it special was that I got to truly know everyone at SAE Institute. The classes alone are taught by real-world experienced instructors, which would have been great enough. The after-hours assistance on projects while getting extra help and critiques (quite literally whenever I needed it) gave me the confidence to go out on my own and are what really made the program special to me.
Since graduation I haven’t let the school out of my sight entirely – I’ve returned to SAE Institute to use the facilities and also solicited periodic advice from the instructors (mentors!) when I’ve found myself stuck on a mixing issue with a real-world client.”
