Learning at SAE Vancouver allowed me to discover parts of myself I never knew existed. I gained experience from both an intellectual and creative standpoint, learning, in-depth, the technological and theoretical techniques that have allowed me to produce in ways I never thought imagined. Though I graduated a few years back, the friendships and professional contacts I made have lasted me to today, with collaborations that would have otherwise been impossible. I am so thankful for my time at SAE Vancouver, both because they gave me the knowledge to succeed and also because they gave me a community in which I could thrive and truly be myself. I take these lessons with me every day.
Bio
Nachum stumbled upon audio engineering during his Masters’s degree in neuroscience. After learning about the fundamentals of the nervous system, specifically regarding the auditory 8th cranial nerve, he realized that my degree was exactly in line with the concepts of audio engineering. I pursued studies at SAE Vancouver to supplement his understanding of audiology and audio engineering to take advantage of the tips and tricks of creating quality sound design and music that is interesting and pleasing to the ear.
