Liza Johnson

Liza Johnson
My time at SAE equipped me with an in-depth understanding of audio in both a practical sense and a personal one. I attribute my ability to obtain (and maintain) work in this field to sincere confidence; in myself, and others around me. Being able to collaborate has brought me so far, and that all started at SAE's C24 asking "Why does this sound bad?".

Oh, and troubleshooting. Never underestimate the power of troubleshooting.

Bio

After graduating from SAE in 2019 Liza has been working consistently in Vancouver as an audio engineer. In early 2020 she took on a full-time job as an Events Coordinator and AV Tech at an independent school; supporting the school’s music program of orchestral ensembles, jazz band, concert band, and choirs. In 2021 she worked at Nimbus as a part-time tech supporting other audio and music students in their sessions.

Presently, Liza working consistently at local theatres and venues supporting a range of acts from live music to corporate events, and sometimes her own band, Delusion Bay.
