My time at SAE gave me the skills, knowledge, and most importantly, the confidence I needed to thrive in the arts, music, and events industry. The instructors and staff are truly invested in your growth and success, the facilities are stunning, and I learned more in 9 months than I ever thought was possible. The tools I gained at SAE have allowed me to bring my visions and those of the artists I work with to live, from sound art installations in galleries to full-scale electronic music festivals.
Bio
Emma Jay (LOUP) is an administrator, event producer, and electroacoustic musician living and working in the traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples. When she’s not busy managing the Sechelt Arts Centre, producing arts events and festivals, and serving the thriving art community of the Coast in her work with the Sunshine Coast Arts Council, she finds time to curate underground electronic music events, release genre-defying music, and perform at venues across British Columbia and beyond.
