Attending SAE was a real treat. Being a woman in the music industry, I was tired of feeling like the men around me dictated all my production and conversations around it, and decided to attend SAE to uplift myself, my music, and hopefully other femmes in the industry. The course at SAE is really about how much you put into it, the teachers are amazing and willing to help you as much as you need along the way but you have to want it for yourself as well. I do feel like attending SAE gave me a really good base of understanding of music production and sound engineering, making me feel competent and knowledgeable in all areas of sound. I've already been using the studio to record for my EP and am grateful to have that access to that space. I'm overall very excited to continue learning on my own and put all the skills I learned to use in my production and working with others!
