ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

ALL APPLICANTS:

  • Applicants must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, by the time studies begin.
  • All applicants under the age of 19 must have completed high school and submit a transcript. In addition, on their behalf, they will require the signature of a parent or guardian on the student contract.
  • Final acceptance will be based on a personal interview with the applicant, to assess their aptitude, level of interest and basic computer skills.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

  • All programs at SAE Institute Vancouver are conducted in English, making proficiency in the English language a requirement for enrolment.  

The Required Proficiency Can Be Demonstrated Through:

  1. Documentation of completion of a high school diploma, or equivalent, in English in a country where English is the primary language of instruction.  Acceptable forms of documentation are:
  • Copy of high school transcript, including graduation date
  • Copy of high school diploma

2. Documentation of completion of two years of full-time post-secondary education in English in a country where English is the language of instruction (from the list above).  Acceptable forms of documentation are:

  • Copy of post-secondary education transcript, including graduation date
  • Copy of post-secondary education Diploma

3. Documentation of successful completion of one of the following English Language Assessments, with minimum scores in one of the following:

SAE Institute High School Class of 2025 Scholarship

SAE Institute’s High School Class of 2025 Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who graduate from high school in 2025. Moneys for this scholarship is made available for up to three (3) students at $2,500 to students graduating high school in 2025.

To qualify, students must:
• Graduate or will graduate high school in 2025
• Apply to an SAE Institute program
• Submit a completed scholarship application
• Complete Personal Statement Questions

All materials must be received by midnight (local time), May 31, 2025. Scholarship funds will be evenly distributed across the student’s remaining payment periods and applied as a credit to their student ledger at the end of each successfully completed semester. Scholarship will be applied to the tuition upon acceptance into the program. If a student cancels, withdraws or is terminated due to non-attendance, code of conduct violations, or failure to complete a module, the scholarship will be prorated based on the percentage of the semester completed. This scholarship has no cash value.
