Bio
Andy Morrish is a live audio engineer specializing in small to large-scale productions for both corporate and entertainment applications. Inspired by the touring bands he booked in his hometown, he decided to go to University of Ottawa to study music before enrolling at Metalworks Institute for live music and event production.
After working for 7 years in Toronto at several venues and for various corporate audio/visual companies, he moved to Vancouver for a change of pace and opportunity. There he started working at places like the Commodore Ballroom, Malkin Bowl, and Vogue Theatre at monitor, FOH, or system tech positions.
Sometimes you can find him mixing sound for intimate and secret Sofar Sounds showcase across the city. To escape such an often dynamic work life, Andy tends to his garden in his spare time while drinking copious amounts of coffee.
